COLO SPRGS, CO (March 1, 2023) – USA Shooting shotgun athletes are taking on the next International Shooting Sports Federation (ISSF) World Cup in Doha, Qatar, March 4-13.
The Women’s Trap athletes competing for Team USA are:
Rachel Tozier: 2022 Shotgun National Champion in Women’s Trap
Alicia Gough: 2019 ISSF Changwon World Cup competitor
Ryann Phillips: 2021 ISSF World Championships silver medalist in Junior Women’s Trap
The Men’s Trap athletes representing Team USA consist of:
Derrick Mein: 2022 ISSF World Championships gold medalist and 2024 Olympic quota earner in Men’s Trap
William Hinton: 2022 Championships of the Americas gold medalist in Men’s Trap Team; and 2024 Olympic quota earner in Men’s Trap
Glenn Eller: Five-time Olympian and 2008 Olympic gold medalist in Men’s Double Trap
The following athletes will be competing in Men’s Skeet:
Vincent Hancock: 2022 ISSF World Championships silver medalist in Men’s Skeet
Dustan Taylor: Championship of the Americas gold medalist and 2024 Olympic quota earner in Men’s Skeet
Christian Elliott: 2022 ISSF World Championships silver medalist in Men’s Skeet Team
The Women’s Skeet athletes competing for Team USA are:
Kim Rhode: Six-time Olympic medalist, three in Women’s Skeet and three in Double Trap
Dania Vizzi: 2022 Championship of the Americas gold medalist and 2024 Olympic quota earner in Women’s Skeet
Samantha Simonton: 2022 ISSF World Championships bronze medalist in Women’s Skeet

Carey Garrison: 2019 ISSF Suhl Junior World Cup bronze medalist in Trap Mixed Team
Benjamin Keller: 2022 ISSF World Champion in Junior Men’s Skeet
Amber English: 2022 ISSF Lonato World Cup gold medalist in Women’s Skeet Team
Derek Haldeman: 2019 Pan American Games silver medalist, and 2020 Olympic quota earner, Men’s Trap
The shotgun team just had their spring selection match in Tucson where they named the 2023 National Trap and Skeet Teams. The match was also part one of the 2023 Pan American Games selection process. The second half will take place during the 2023 Shotgun National Championships May 17-28 at the Halter Shooting Sports Center in Hillsdale, Michigan.
